June news from my Imagine Nation...

The interpretation of the Yazoo song Only You is now complete. This has been submitted to The Specialized Project in preparation for this year's fund raising CD release "Skank Up the 80’s".

I'm now back focusing on my own original material, so do look out for announcements on the next creation from my Imagine Nation in July.
 

As you may have noticed on the music tabs, there are now 2 more releases from my Imagine Nation. It has taken a little longer to get here, but finally ... these both represent the musical flavours that I will be exploring more in future releases.

As such, they follow on from the tribute track Rhythm of the Night, but are more representative of what the project is about. It's a break away from past styles to explore the use of new influences .. whilst very much keeping a Rocksteady / Reggae rhythm at the heart.

Guest appearances include old band members from the Erin Bardwell Collective (on Funk Off) with the first recording sessions actually happening back in 2016. Garden leave only goes back as far as 2020 ... starting out as influenced by frustration at my personal change in circumstances, at work, that occurred due to the dreaded COVID.

Lastly, I must not forget to mention, there is now also another track released, this time via the Specialized Project; the classic Yahoo song, Only You, with guest vocal from Sandra Glindon is now available to pre-order. Details at the OTHER RELEASES link at the top ..
