The first full, new and original release from my Imagine Nation; a statement track to introduce you to this music project. Following on from the tribute track Rhythm of the Night, this represents the way I've been hearing things in my head over more recent years. It's reggae, Jim, but not quite as you may know it - influences and flavours of jazz, funk and world (to name a few) are combined with a rocksteady heart. Just remember, it ain't over until it is .. so keep the spirit alive!

The second, full, new and original release from my Imagine Nation; a twist on funk  but sill with a reggae / rocksteady heart.

The track started life some 9 years ago, resulting in recording sessions that took place in late 2016 into early 2017. It features special guest appearances by friends from my Erin Bardwell Collecive days:-

Erin Bardwell contributes some of the rhythm piano work as well as all the selected extracts of organ parts recorded during different takes.

Eddie Frankis contributed wah effect rhythm guitar recorded during a separate session. 

 So, if life can get on our nerves sometimes, here's the best way to overcome it - go ahead, take the medicine and enjoy!
